I can honestly say that I do not know of a single time in my life that I have been as satisfied with a product as I am with this cream. I currently have 22 tattoos and some of them are in some absolutely terrible spots (middle of my chest, back, ankle, heel, shins, armpits etc). I agreed because why not take some pain away if possible. Again I did not have faith in this product. All the reviews I saw said to leave it on for 30 mins before tattooing. We left it on for an hour and a half and used Saran Wrap to heat activate it. When I say I was numb I mean it. 100% couldn’t feel anything more than gentle vibrations of him stretching the skin, but absolutely nothing from the needle. And it also lasted more than 5 hours. My only ask is that you guys never close your business because this is a miracle product and I’ve got several more projects now that pain is no issue. I get tattooed a lot. I went in for an appointment to cover up a solar plexus tattoo. The original was a simple design in somewhat thick black lines, and it was the most painful tattoo I’ve ever gotten (more than the middle of my back on the spine, knuckles, armpits, inner bicep, etc.)
I applied half a tube this cream and wrapped with plastic 90 minutes before the appointment start time, but we spent another 90 minutes figuring out a design and stencil which I anticipated, so I applied the other half of the tube and wrapped again when I got to the shop. My artist washed the area to apply the stencil and I couldn’t feel a single thing. The appointment lasted 5 hours and only around the final hour did I begin to feel the machine working. I could have slept through the first four hours, no joke. I ordered 5 tubes initially and I just ordered 5 more because of how unbelievably well it worked. I’ll be using it for the foreseeable future and recommending it to friends.

I have used the TKTX Numbing Cream twice now and will not get a tattoo with out it. Both times I sat for 4-5 hours, and I only felt the needle that last hour or so of the session. I did learn however this second time, not to use too much! Instead of covering just part of the arm we worked on, I covered my whole arm. (I thought we were placing things differently) My lower arm did not end up getting tattooed and it was still numb when I went to bed. The next day I ended up getting a rash/hives and after some research (after the fact lol) you can have a reaction to being exposed to too much lidocaine….. so, while I HIGHLY recommend this product, make sure you only put it on a small area (and probably listen to the directions that say you should do a test spot first).

And once I wrapped my arm I got a hair dryer and warmed my arm up with the cream on my skin. And once my artist wiped off the cream and dried the area he started. I didn’t even feel the vibration of the needle until after about 3 hours. At about 3 and a half hours it started to only tingle. And he applied more. The instructions say you can apply to open skin. This stuff is CRAZY I will never ever suffer through another tattoo with out it!

I decided to try this numbing cream on my small inner bicep piece and I was shocked at how amazing it worked: I placed it on about 90 mins before my appointment. I hardly felt anything at all, even vibrations. My tattoo artist said that it didn’t cause any issues with the skins texture.

Used this on my foot and made the outlining so much more manageable! Some areas I felt nothing at all, other areas were just a bit of pressure and tingling. However, the skin seemed to become a lot more sensitive to the wiping and rubbing and you still feel a little bit of the burning sensation.
