I have been getting tattooed for 20 years and never used any type of cream before. I’ve been working on a large cover-up back piece for almost a year and decided to give this cream a try. At first I felt the cooling and tingling and kept the area wrapped for about 90 minutes prior to work. I think I may have needed to layer it on a bit thicker in certain spots because I could feel the line work, but for other areas it was 100% painless, which blew my mind. I’ve never had a painless tattoo before so it was a very odd sensation and helped immensely! I would recommend getting this numbing cream if you are looking to take the edge off. You might need to apply in thick layers to be consistent.
